Why This Matters
At Awakeʻe, our team works daily to protect sacred trails, burial grounds, and wahi pana from damage caused by illegal dumping, off-road traffic, and neglect.
But we’re losing ground — literally.
Without proper access equipment, we arrive late to prevent desecration and are often forced to repair sensitive area's after damage has been done.
We’re not asking for luxury. We’re asking for the bare minimum needed to do our job — a side-by-side utility vehicle to reach remote sites and respond quickly.
Our Goal
We’re raising $30,000 to purchase or receive a donated side-by-side utility vehicle equipped for Hawaiian terrain.
✅ 4-wheel drive
✅ Cargo capacity for tools & supplies
✅ Durable enough for lava rock trails
✅ Quiet enough for respectful cultural work
This is a game-changer — not just for us, but for the land, the kupuna buried there, and future generations.
